The pressure is intensifying on N.C. State coach Chuck Amato and it isn’t going away. N.C. State is off this week and plays Georgia Tech on Oct. 6. “There’s a good-news, bad-news story,” Amato said Wednesday. “The good news is we are getting better. The bad news is so is everybody else in the league. We have a long way to go to get where we need to be.” Moments later, Amato said N.C. State is “so very, very, very, very close” to winning close games. Which is it?
