A new calling

C. J. Stephens came to Chapel Hill to toss a football. These days, the former Floridian is pitching something else: faith and community. A graduate degree and a master's degree later, Stephens said he's learned that his faith brought him to Chapel Hill for reasons other than football. After working in public relations for a year, he is now serving as a youth pastor for the newhope church of Chapel Hill. (Chapel Hill News)
