Mack Brown has Texas poised for a breakthrough

Mack Brown left North Carolina in the winter of 1997 for greener pastures, giving up a good gig at UNC for a great gig at Texas. Some UNC fans have never forgiven him. Others have continued to love him and keep tabs, perhaps vicariously living their dreams of a national championship through the Eyes of Texas. (Winston-Salem Journal)
