Tommy Richardson hosting Auburn-Georgia Tech party


The season kicks off today for most college football teams, and North Carolina's players and coaches will see more of opening weekend than usual. That's the benefit of starting the season a week later -- the Tar Heels' first game is Sept. 10 at Georgia Tech. Many UNC players plan to get together at senior linebacker Tommy Richardson's apartment to watch Georgia Tech play Auburn tonight. (Durham Herald-Sun)
