Dexter Reid cut by Patriots

The New England Patriots released safety Dexter Reid on Monday. Reid was drafted in the fourth round out of North Carolina last year. He played in 13 games as a rookie, starting two, and had nine tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. His 16 special teams tackles were fourth on the team. (Inside Carolina)
