Sunday Practice Notes

After watching film of Saturday's scrimmage, coach John Bunting was pleased with his defense. "I saw a defense that really ran to the ball," he said. "I saw defensive linemen, for the first time since 2001, really get after the offensive line. They're more experienced and stronger and faster. Khalif Mitchell played his best football yesterday, and that's really pleasing to see." (Tar Heel Blue)
