Officials want to talk to Michael Jordan about fire

Santa Barbara County Fire Department investigators would like to speak to about a criminal arson investigation. It took 250 firefighters more than 4 1/2 hours to contain a fire that had spread over 25 acres last Saturday next to the Rancho San Marcos golf course, where Jordan and about a dozen friends were playing golf. "While we do not believe Mr. Jordan is personally responsible for starting the fire, our investigators have been told members of his party could have started it, and we would like to speak to Mr. Jordan to learn more about their group," a fire department spokesman said.
