UNC signing football players at a fast rate

Football practice for Carolina hasn’t begun yet, but the coaching staff has been operating at a furious pace throughout the summer. No, the coaches have not been conducting illegal workouts. What they have been doing is recruiting like crazy. New recruits cannot sign a national letter-of-intent until February 2006, but at least 18 kids have already told the UNC coaching staff they plan to sign with the Tar Heels when the time comes.
