Larry Brown began taking risks early

Barring some unforeseen breakdown, Larry Brown will soon become the highest-paid coach in the business of fun and games. The word is the New York Knicks are preparing to pay Mr. National Geographic in excess of $10 million per year to assume what would be his 11th head coaching position, a journey that has taken him East and West, North and South, in and out of the ABA and NBA, including pit stops on the campuses of UCLA and Kansas.
