Incoming UNC freshman fullback/linebacker Mark Paschal arrested


Incoming North Carolina freshman fullback/linebacker Mark Paschal was arrested following an altercation in downtown Chapel Hill early Saturday morning. Paschal, 18, the son of former UNC and Minnesota Vikings fullback Doug Paschal, was charged with: 1) Assault-simple; 2) Drunk/disruptive; 3) Resisting Arrest. All the charges were misdemeanors. As far as Paschal’s college football future is concerned, “Coach [John] Bunting has not made a determination at this point.” (Inside Carolina)
