A hard lesson learned

Former University of North Carolina football coach Bill Dooley likes to say that recruiting is just a part of the equation. Retention is equally, or more, important because it doesn't really matter who signs if he isn't there to play a year or two down the road. Far too many of them were excellent prospects who could have helped this team remain a winner in what may be a difficult season ahead. (Chapel Hill News)
