Roger Williams named Georgia Bulldogs' pitching coach

Roger Williams, who consistently developed one of the nation's top pitching staffs at North Carolina, has joined the Georgia Bulldogs as the pitching coach, Georgia coach David Perno announced Thursday. Williams, an All-ACC pitcher for the Tar Heels in 1984-85, recently completed his 11th year as North Carolina's pitching coach. The Tar Heels' 3.17 ERA this season ranked 10th nationally and second in the ACC. (Athens Banner-Herald)
