Boston College officially becomes a member of the ACC today, nearly 21 years after Doug Flutie's famous Hail Mary pass in the Orange Bowl. With sincere apologies to the old guard, old-school traditionalists who still believe the ACC should have remained a mid-Atlantic basketball-first bastion of might instead of spreading all the way to Chestnut Hill, Mass., and Coral Gables, Fla., here are 12 pertinent things you need to know:
