Tar Heels Win Carlyle Cup
The University of North Carolina won 11 sports outright and split with Duke in three other sports to win the 2004-05 Carlyle Cup by a point total of 15-11. The Carlyle Cup is a multi-sport competition between Carolina and Duke sponsored by Carlyle & Co., a Greensboro-based jeweler. This was the fifth year of the competition. (
