Carolina Golfers Finish 18th At Carpet Capital Collegiate

The University of North Carolina men's golf team finished in 18th place with a 900 total at the Carpet Capital Collegiate. The Tar Heels carded a 309 in the final round after earlier rounds of 300-291. Tennessee-Chattanooga captured the team title with a two-over-par 864 total with rounds of 291-283-290. For the Tar Heels, sophomore Philip Chauncey, from Durham, N.C., carded a six-over 222 total.
