Illse Davids Named Progress Energy Performer Of The Week


Field hockey midfielder Illse Davids played a role in five goals over the weekend and is the Progress Energy Tar Heel of the Week for September 8-14, 2008. Davids helped UNC earn shutout wins over No. 11 Penn State and West Chester at the Vonnie Gros Classic to improve to 4-2 overall. On Saturday against the No. 11 Nittany Lions, Davids assisted on the second goal of the day and scored the third as UNC won 4-0. (Tar Heel Blue)
