Tar Heel Field Hockey Beats Longwood For Seventh Consecutive Win


Behind a pair of goals from junior Danielle Forword, the fifth-ranked UNC field hockey team won its seventh consecutive game Sunday afternoon, beating host Longwood 3-1 at the Athletics Complex. The Tar Heels improved to 8-2 with the win, while the Lancers fell to 5-5. Next up for the Tar Heels is an Atlantic Coast Conference battle with Wake Forest, which beat UNC 2-1 in penalty strokes on Sept. 5 in Winston-Salem, N.C. (Tar Heel Blue)
