UConn quarterback Tyler Lorenzen out 6-8 weeks
Posted Sep 30, 2008
Connecticut coach Randy Edsall says quarterback Tyler Lorenzen is expected to be out six to eight weeks following surgery on his broken right foot. The No. 24 Huskies lost Lorenzen and starting tight end Steve Brouse in Friday night’s 26-21 win at Louisville. Sophomore Zach Frazer replaced Lorenzen and went 8-of-15 for 90 yards and a touchdown. Edsall says Frazer will start for UConn (5-0) when the Huskies visit North Carolina on Saturday night.
