Charlotte Verstraten Shares ACC Field Hockey Honor


UNC freshman Charlotte Verstraten has been named ACC Field Hockey Co-Player of the Week following her performance in Saturday's Tar Heel win over third-ranked Wake Forest. Verstraten, a forward from the Netherlands, shares the honor with Maryland's Emma Thomas. After a scoreless 20 minutes in the top-five ACC battle, Verstraten scored her first career goal to give the Tar Heels a 1-0 lead (Tar Heel Blue)
