Kate Scholl Named ACC Field Hockey Player Of The Week


North Carolina senior Kate Scholl a back/midfielder from East Greenville, Pa., has been named the ACC Field Hockey Player of the Week for the first time in her career. Scholl scored a goal in each of the Tar Heels' wins against ranked teams last weekend. On Saturday against No. 13 Virginia, Scholl provided the third goal in a 3-0 win over the Cavaliers. The goal was Scholl's first score since the 2006 season. (Tar Heel Blue)
