North Carolina will try for bowl eligibility for the second time when it meets Boston College, one of the ACC's most improving teams, at noon today at Kenan Stadium. North Carolina (5-2, 1-2 ACC) is coming off last week's collapse at Virginia, where a 16-13 overtime loss snapped a three-game winning streak. Boston College (5-1, 2-1) defeated Virginia Tech 28-23 for its fourth straight win.
