Men's Soccer Falls To Tigers 3-2 In Double Overtime

Clemson ended No. 7 North Carolina's three-match winning streak Saturday, defeating the Heels 3-2 in double overtime. Clemson's Nathan Thornton scored in the 108th minute, off assists from fellow Tigers' Bryson Moore and Nick Burton. Thornton, who now has three goals on the season, also scored in the 50th minute for the Tigers. Junior Hassan Ibrahim added the third goal for the Tigers in the 78th minute as Clemson rallied from a 1-0 deficit in the first half.
