Sally Austin to leave UNC after 16th season

Longtime North Carolina women's golf coach Sally Austin will step down at the conclusion of this season, her 16th, the school announced Wednesday. Austin, a 1977 UNC graduate who played golf for the Tar Heels, is leaving "to pursue other interests and to spend more time with her family," according to the school. "It is with mixed emotions that I leave this great university," Austin said. (Durham Herald-Sun)
