Cormac Ryan turned the tide for himself in the second half against Northern Iowa. Ninety seconds into the period, he rose over a Northern Iowa defender with conviction to can his first 3-pointer in 12 attempts. That shot from Ryan catalyzed a 3-point barrage from UNC in its 91-69 win. Ryan made two more long-distance shots with his next two attempts.
