UNC women's soccer advances


The North Carolina and UNC-Charlotte soccer squads have changed since opening the season against each other in August. But thanks to freshman forward Courtney Jones, feisty reserve play and an even flow of intensity, the No. 2 ranked Tar Heels ended the 49ers record-setting season with a 4-0 win in the second round of the NCAA women's soccer playoffs at Fetzer Field Sunday.
