"I was always preparing to do different things, and I knew it was going to be within basketball, in some kind of way. I had my own radio show in Houston; I would do things on the news while I was in Houston, but it was all never knowing that I’d get totally into it like I am now. At the end of the season TNT always brings players on to do commentary, especially during the Playoffs. They brought me on and told me that if I really wanted to continue doing it, I could probably do it for a living."
