NC State Denies UNC’s Quest to Cut Down ACC Nets

NC State never wore down and remarkably completed an unprecedented ACC Tournament marathon Saturday to deny North Carolina’s quest to cut down the nets. The top-seeded Tar Heels fell to the 10th-seeded Wolfpack 84-76 in the tournament final, and came up short in the pursuit of what would’ve been their first tournament title in eight years.
