UNC Baseball Notebook: 'Character Win' Salvages Weekend

Vance Honeycutt entered the Virginia series with one hit in his last 17 at-bats. Thursday’s game was more of the same for the UNC centerfielder. Friday was a different story. While the Tar Heels surrendered seven runs in the loss, Honeycutt provided the North Carolina offense with two solo home runs. A trio of Tar Heels were able to mash on Saturday.
