Jessica Breland Named ACC Player Of The Week

North Carolina's Jessica Breland and Virginia's Ariana Moorer were named Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Basketball Player and Rookie of the Week for the week ending Dec. 7. Breland tallied 29 points in the second-ranked Tar Heels' 72-63 win over No. 18 Ohio State in the annual ACC/Big Ten Challenge, while Moorer had a pair of double-digit scoring outings to lead No. 19 Virginia in wins over Illinois and East Carolina.
