Meineke Car Care Bowl has sold 63,000 seats

Fewer than 10,000 tickets are still available for the 2008 Meineke Car Care Bowl, bowl officials said Friday afternoon. More than 63,000 tickets have already been sold for this year’s game between North Carolina and the West Virginia. The game is Saturday, Dec. 27, at Bank of America Stadium with a 1 p.m. kickoff. It will be televised nationally on ESPN. “The buzz surrounding tickets fhas been extraordinary,” Will Webb, executive director of the bowl, said
