Tar Heels Fall Short In National Title Game


North Carolina's dramatic run through the NCAA Tournament fell just short of a national title with a 1-0 loss to Maryland Sunday in the championship match of the 2008 Men's Soccer College Cup at Pizza Hut Park. The Terrapins' Graham Zusi scored the lone goal of the game in the 67th minute to propel Maryland to its second national title in the last four seasons. (Tar Heel Blue)
