No. 2 Tar Heel Women Face Illinois In Myrtle Beach

North Carolina (11-0) will play its final game before breaking for the Christmas holiday when the Tar Heels take on Illinois Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center. Carolina is coming off its highest scoring output of the season in a 105-49 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Dec. 15. Illinois (4-6) is coming off a 63-61 win at Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Dec. 10. Carolina is ranked No. 2 in both the AP poll and the coaches' poll. Illinois is unranked. (Tar Heel Blue)
