Xavier Nixon Eliminates UNC

Jack Britt offensive tackle Xavier Nixon has narrowed his list of college choices to Miami, LSU and Florida. Nixon announced his decision Thursday one day after returning from New York City where he took part in a promotional tour with other football players who are finalists for the U.S. Army's Player of the Year Award. Nixon is rated one of the top players in the nation at his position by various recruiting services. (Fayetteville Observer)
