No. 4 Carolina Rallies Past Charlotte In 12 Innings

Left fielder Kyle Shelton followed a two-run, game-tying rally in the 11th inning with an RBI fielder's choice in the 12th to lift No. 4 North Carolina to a 5-4 comeback win over Charlotte Wednesday at Cary's USA Baseball National Training Complex. With the victory, the Tar Heels (31-7) extended their winning streak over the 49ers (27-8) to 12 games. (Tar Heel Blue)
