Carolina Women Host Connecticut In 1-2 Showdown


North Carolina steps out of conference for a top-2 matchup as the Tar Heels host fellow unbeaten Connecticut Monday night at 7 at the Smith Center. Carolina is coming off an impressive 103-74 win over Virginia on Friday in which Carolina scored its most points ever against the Cavaliers. Connecticut is coming off an equally impressive 107-53 thumping of Syracuse on Saturday. Carolina is ranked No. 2 in both the AP poll and the coaches' poll. Connecticut is ranked No. 1 in both polls.
