The Story of Fast Willie

A couple of years ago a reporter from Pittsburgh called and asked if I would talk about Parker, who had acquired the “Fast Willie” moniker en route to NFL stardom. He was in Chapel Hill and wanted the perspective of someone who had followed Carolina football, knew Parker and knew the coaching staff during the 2000-03 period when Parker was a Tar Heel.
