Foul won't lead to suspensions
Posted Feb 1, 2009
N.C. State center Ben McCauley glared at UNC's Mike Copeland after defending his turf with a hard foul with 1.9 seconds remaining. "Not in my house," McCauley barked. "Not in my house." Aside from hurt feelings, there shouldn't be any lasting effects from the altercation. There was no flagrant foul called, no one was cited for fighting and no one was ejected, so the rule book doesn't call for a suspension of either player.
