Recruiting: Tennessee top dog in N.C.
Posted Feb 3, 2009
When it comes to luring the best in North Carolina out-of-state to play college football, nobody has done it better since 1991 than the University of Tennessee.
Of the 69 players ranked among the Top 10 in the Tar Heel state by SuperPrep recruiting magazine since ’91, a total of 17 signed with the Volunteers. In fact, Tennessee has signed at least one Top-10 North Carolinian in 12 of those 18 years.
