Tate Parrish accepts Heels' baseball offer

Tate Parrish, a 6-foot, 175-pound left-handed junior pitcher and outfielder at Smithfield-Selma High School, has verbally committed to accept a baseball scholarship from the University of North Carolina. Parrish, the son of Frank and Kim Parrish, made his decision recently after a pair of unofficial visits to the UNC campus and the Heels' baseball facilities at Bryson Field at Boshamer Stadium.
