Tar Heels slide past Virginia to keep win streak


While third-ranked North Carolina rode solid defense and a second-half surge to a 76-61 Atlantic Coast Conference victory, the Tar Heels' seventh-straight victory didn't come easy. Vexed by a Cavaliers' zone defense and plagued by cold shooting, North Carolina (21-2 overall, 7-2 ACC) notched its lowest point total of the season against a Virginia team that has lost its last seven games.
