Linebacker Kendall Moore in demand

Kendall Moore, a 6-foot-3, 235-pound linebacker at Southeast Raleigh, already has scholarship offers from North Carolina, N.C. State, Wake Forest, Maryland, West Virginia and South Carolina.

"Kendall had a good year last fall, but he is maturing and is getting better," Southeast coach Daniel Finn said. "He is working harder in the weight room and in his offseason drills."

Moore helped Southeast to an 11-3 record in 2008. (Raleigh News & Observer)
