Fowler | Tar Heels will win today
Posted Apr 5, 2008
OK, Kansas fans. Let's get one thing straight. You couldn't beat North Carolina in the Final Four when you had Wilt Chamberlain, and you won't do it today. There's no Danny Manning out there in shorts for you, and there's not going to be any 1988 NCAA Kansas miracle. That title -- your only one in the past 55 years -- was quickly followed by an NCAA probation that barred you from even trying to defend your title in 1989.
