UNC to play Texas in basketball at Dallas Cowboys Stadium

The University of North Carolina will take on the University of Texas in December at the new Dallas Cowboys Stadium — in a basketball game. The Dec. 19 game, which was confirmed by Cowboys officials Thursday, will be the first basketball game played at the new $1.1 billion stadium. The 2010 NBA All-Star game and the 2014 NCAA Final Four are also scheduled for the new stadium, which will open this summer. (Triangle Business Journal)
