Italee Lucas becomes go-to player for UNC women

UNC women's basketball coach Sylvia Hatchell said the recent electric play of sophomore guard Italee Lucas just may be the thunderbolt jolt the Tar Heels need to elevate their level of play throughout the NCAA Tournament. "She's playing like you should in tournament time," Hatchell said. "She's competing hard. She wants to win. She doesn't always make the right decisions but she's scoring and doing some good things."
