Jheranie Boyd shines on the track

By far, the athlete most noticed on the track was Ashbrook's Jhay Boyd. The UNC football recruit at wide receiver won both the 100 meters (10.51 seconds) and 200 meters (22.00 seconds) and anchored a pair of winning Green Wave relay teams. For his effort, he earned the Most Outstanding track award. (Gaston Gazette)
