After a junior season in which he made 60 tackles and had nine interceptions, David Amerson finds himself a major recruiting target. Now a solid 6-foot-1 and 180 pounds, he already has a bushel of offers, and lists his three favorites as Virginia Tech, Notre Dame and N.C. State. “I also like Wake a lot and Duke showed me a lot of interest, and Louisville. I talked to a (North Carolina) Tar Heels coach for the first time Wednesday.” (Charlotte Observer)
