Updating UNC's scholarship crunch

With Angelo Hadley out of the equation, UNC has 26 signees and 22 available scholarships. Davis said in February there was "never any doubt, never any doubt at all" that UNC would get down to the allowable limit. Hadley's absence likely solves UNC's scholarship quandary. With four more signees than available scholarships, recruiting analyst Miller Safrit identified four players who are unlikely to enroll in August -- Ray-Ray Davis, Justin Dixon, Jheranie Boyd and Donovan Tate.
