LB Prince Shembo surprises in workouts

A pleasant surprise was the attendance of linebacker Prince Shembo (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell). His participation was not anticipated, but he showed up and performed well. Shembo has good size with a thick build and could easily develop into a defensive end in college. He uses his hands well and is a powerful kid. He said he is currently holding nine offers from programs such as Notre Dame, Stanford, North Carolina, Illinois and Virginia Tech. (ESPN.com)
