Previewing NC State

The first-place and top-ranked Tar heels (37-11, 16-7 ACC) head over to Raleigh for a weekend series with NC State (22-27, 8-16 ACC). NC State has won three of its last six games and is on pace to miss the ACC Tournament, as it sits in fourth place in the Atlantic Division and 10th overall in the ACC. The Tar Heels lead the all time series with the Wolfpack, 140-119-1. NC State coach Elliot Avent is 19-20 against the Tar Heels. (Inside Carolina)
