Gillheeney handcuffs Tar Heels

It was the top of the seventh inning. N.C. State pitcher Jimmy Gillheeney had given up a single and two walks to No. 1 North Carolina. With two outs, the bases were loaded and the Wolfpack's 3-0 lead was in jeopardy. As Mark Fleury stepped to the plate, Gillheeney prepared. Two balls and three strikes later, the inning was over. And so was Gillheeney's impressive showing.
